I find it ironic that sometimes prophets or personalities from the Hebrew Bible (TaNaKh) are emphasized and venerated more in the Quran than in rabbinic literature and tradition. Also, I don't think that most people realize what a prominent place Maryam (Mary the mother of Jesus) holds in the Quran. I remember learning that and being impressed. Thanks for checking in, Amanda!
